ABOUT ME

I am a Learning Experience Designer with a Masters degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning. I am currently an Instructional Designer at Credit Union West, as well as a freelancer.

At Credit Union West, I lead the development and implementation of educational programs for corporate employees and branch staff. I manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with organizational objectives. Using ADDIE and other methodologies, I design content that supports the organization’s mission and values, while conducting needs assessments and performance evaluations to address knowledge gaps. I collaborate closely with leadership to recommend learning solutions that align with business goals and Key Strategic Objectives (KSOs).
 
In my role as an Instructional Designer, I have developed trainings for software conversions, leadership skills, procedural changes, and more. I utilize tools such as Articulate, Vyond, Camtasia, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud to create both virtual and instructor-led trainings. My training programs have received an average satisfaction rating of 4.8/5.0, and I consistently earn a 5.0/5.0 rating from stakeholders and subject matter experts for collaboration. In my role, I have strengthened my project management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

In 2023, I completed my Masters degree in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning at Boise State University. During this program, I built a strong foundation in adult learning theories and practices while gaining hands-on experience designing practical learning solutions for clients. In Spring 2023, I collaborated with a gas station chain to create incident protocols using both instructional and non-instructional strategies. Additionally, I developed a New Manager Training Program, applying the 5-step Design Thinking Process. I also conducted a comprehensive needs assessment for a restaurant in Mexico to address the cause of their high turnover rate. In every hands-on project I participated in, I had the opportunity to apply the knowledge I was gaining in the classroom. My project titled, "How to Navigate Emotional Waters as a Leaders" was selected as a standout project on the Boise State website.
